What Does the $150 Diagnostic Visit Include?
We assess your reported problem and explain the recommended next step. Depending on the symptoms, we may check suction, power unit operation, wall inlets, control wiring, hoses or possible blockages.
The fee covers diagnosis. Repairs, parts and additional work are quoted separately for your approval. Payment is due on the day of service, even if you decide not to proceed with a repair.
Any additional visit charges are explained before booking.
Repair or Replace? Start With the Problem.
Weak suction does not always mean you need a new power unit. We find the cause before recommending work.
- Weak suction or clogged piping
- A unit that will not start or shut off
- Faulty inlets or control wiring
- Motor, hose or attachment problems
- General maintenance and service
- Hide A Hose or Chameleon issues
Your repair price depends on the cause, parts needed and access. We explain the cost before proceeding.
Power Unit Replacement
An aging power unit does not always mean replacing the entire system. We check whether your existing piping and inlets can remain in use.
Your quote identifies the selected unit, installation, connection changes and testing. Additional hoses, tools or repairs are listed separately.
Send your city and a photo of the unit or model label to help us review your options.
Standard Inlet Systems
A practical system with wall inlets and a portable cleaning hose.
Pricing depends on the layout, inlet count, pipe access, power unit and cleaning kit. Available for new construction, renovations and suitable existing homes.
Hide A Hose & Chameleon
Pull out the hose to clean, then let suction draw it back into concealed piping.
Pricing depends on valve locations, cleaning coverage, hose storage routes and installation access. We review your home and explain which options are practical.
What Your Proposal Covers
- Selected equipment and cleaning accessories
- Inlet or retractable valve locations
- Piping, control wiring and installation
- System testing
- Required wall openings or work by other trades
- Payment terms and applicable warranties
For new construction, piping and wiring are coordinated before drywall. Equipment installation and final testing follow when the home is ready.
Common Pricing Questions
Is the diagnostic fee the total repair price?
No. The $150 fee covers the diagnostic visit. Repairs, parts and additional work are quoted separately.
Do I pay if I decline the repair?
Yes. The fee covers the assessment performed during your visit and is due on the day of service.
Is the diagnostic fee credited toward further work?
Any available credit and its conditions are stated in your written estimate or proposal. A credit is not automatic.
Can you quote an installation from floor plans?
Send your floor plans, property location and project stage. We use our specialized planning system to design the pipe layout and valve locations around your home’s cleaning coverage and installation requirements. We’ll review your plans and let you know whether an on site evaluation is needed. Any evaluation fee is confirmed before booking.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. We service all major brands, including Vacuflo, MD, Beam, NuTone, VacuMaid, Cyclo Vac and Dirt Devil. Repair options depend on the system’s condition and parts availability.
